Mike had a smooth transition to Sunnyview. It’s a beautiful, state-of-the-art facility. Honestly, compared to the last 11 days at Albany Medical Center, it feels like the Ritz Carlton. 

He has his own room with a huge window. An amazing bathroom with a shower. He is really looking forward to showering! It’s a quiet, calming and therapeutic environment. 

There will be a multitude of therapy providers evaluating Mike over the next couple of days to assess every area of need. They will put together a plan and a daily schedule for him.

I read that Sunnyview uses an exoskeleton suit to help people overcome paralysis. How cool is that??!!

Thank you for all of your prayers and loving support. We couldn’t have made it through this without it. I won’t be sending daily updates anymore, but feel free to reach out anytime and I’m happy to let you know how he’s doing. 

This will be a long road to recovery but I have no doubt Mike will exceed expectations.

What doesn’t kill us not only makes us stronger, it also  reshapes us for we are forever changed by the experience.

There is honor and glory in overcoming huge obstacles in life. If you know Mike, then you know he is always up for a good challenge. 

Not to mention he gets to wear a super cool exoskeleton suit… I mean, come on! 😎❤️
