Hi. I’m Teri and I decided to start a blog to chronicle my boyfriend’s journey after having a stroke. Life turned upside-down on April 11, 2025 for him and I.

As I started texting updates for friends and family on his progress, I felt obligated to make those updates positive and uplifting to comfort all of us as we, too, are living in this nightmare alongside Mike.

My friends and family confided in me that they enjoy my writing style and would read a blog if I started one. Thus, Redsteno.com was born. It is my hope that whoever finds this blog and reads it will be inspired by Mike’s story and find helpful information, resources and, most of all, hope for a loved one who may be struggling with life after stroke.
